Harshil Jani is a driven and passionate Electronics and Computer Science B.Tech student at NIT-Surat, expected to graduate in 2024. He is currently exploring open source and learning about compilers, Rust Lang, and Linux. Harshil is also interested in environmental issues and world peace. He enjoys drawing bunnies and loves chocolaty thickshakes as a way to express gratitude. Harshil has gained valuable experience as a Software Development Intern at Samagra, where he is part of the first cohort of the Work From Campus program. In this role, he helps state governments with technical advisories and solutions at different maturity levels. He has also worked as an Open Source Contributor for Code for Govtech, contributing to X-Admin, a low system tool for generating React-Admin code with the help of code generators that take parsed AST as input. Harshil has been accepted as a GSOC Contributor for 2022 at CERN-HSF for the Geant 4 Project. In this role, he will work with data visualization and perf profiling tools to generate performance reports of Geant4 Simulation Software. Harshil's education includes a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering and Computer Science from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat, where he is currently enrolled. He also completed his HSc Sci. from Shree Swaminarayan Naimisharanya School, Bhavnagar, and his primary and secondary education from Saint Mary's English School, Bhavnagar. With his relevant experience of 0.36 years as a Software Engineer, Harshil is a skilled and dedicated individual who is always eager to learn and explore new opportunities. He lives by the motto of "Keep Experiencing, Keep Exploring."
